We see our church growing as individuals are transformed into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ and equipped for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world.
Our Strategy For Growth:
Sharing - We will share the life changing power of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, beginning with our community and continuing around the world. We envision being effective at witnessing by not only sharing the love of Christ though our words, but also by showing the love of Christ in our actions.
& Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Welcoming- We will welcome into our number those who have accepted Christ, and followed His example in believer’s baptism. We envision becoming spiritual community: a place of fellowship and love, where we accept one another and are accepted.
&Acts 2:46–47 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Developing - We will teach our people sound biblical principles with an application to daily life, and an encouragement to daily obedience. We envision our people gaining an understanding of God’s Word that will protect them from false teaching, and lead them to spiritual maturity.
& Ephesians 4:14–15 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Equipping- We will train our members how to discover, and use their God-given gifts and talents. We envision all our members being lead into a rewarding ministry in order to serve faithfully either within or outside the church.
& Ephesians 4:12 , 16 To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
